Case Study: UNC Cancer Care
ImprovementFlow, the healthcare version of Communify's platform, contains components that are a joint venture between Communify and UNC Health Care, combining software with Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processes and practices constantly tested and refined by improvement coaches and team leaders. The core of the ImprovementFlow system was developed based on the CQI practices and processes developed in UNC's Radiation Oncology department, chaired by Lawrence Marks, MD, with coaching support from UNC Health Care's Division of Healthcare Engineering, led by Lukasz Mazur, PhD, to enhance, extend, and scale UNC Health Care's CQI efforts.
